Pudupalayam SanMarga Sangam Library - Recently Celebrated its 112th year new chapter functioning as a rural library, the very first one to be cteated then in the combined district of Vellore, but now in Thiruvannamali, but very close to kanchipuram. The library foot-fall was increased through old students o RKMSHOME-Mylapore by one sucessful model implemented by their Alma Matter involving old students to adopt villages and taking care of providing simple tutition fecility. This is simple and effective. In this incident local youth are involved and also villagers take interest. Through this initiative traditional education - informal education in addition to formal education, continuing education, women educatiion and entreprenuer develoment could be taken up. Which are at planning stages, including refurbishing very old library building.
The Samarasa Sanmarga Sangam Library (also referred to as the Pudupalayam Library) is a historic institution located in the village of Pudupalayam, approximately 5–7 km from the Cheyyar SIDCO industrial area.
