SIDDIMGAL is a leadership and employment initiative.
The name is inspired from Sumerian sources. The logo symbol is adapted from Sumerian cuneiform signs, with reference to the Electronic Pennsylvania Sumerian Dictionary (ePSD), University of Pennsylvania.
Initiated by P. Purushothaman through LLMs collaborative frame works, a Retired Professor of Civil engineering, he is avilable for special interactions - brainstorming online or in person (Chennai & Bangalore) .
He hails from a rural based agrarian family - received traditional aapprenticeship in agriculture as youngest of the family attended traditional and formal schooling from the native village - then moved to modern type residential but value based Gurukula system of RKMSHOME-Mylapore-Chennai - did BE-Civil engineering from GD Naidu founded GCT-Coimbatore - did ME-Civil engineering from Tata founded IISc-Bangalore - worked in State and Central Government organizations in the filed of construction - had worked with majors like L&T construction divison - had many small startups on social ventures - mostly as not for profit - this is also a start up, not for profit, with national interest on youth leaderships through project based learning and bringing solutions to benefit the nation and the people.
Life Long and continuing education, he did part time MBA from IGNOU and PhD from NITTTR-Taramani, Chennai
- the institutions where studied and where worked had shapped these ideas into praxis - thoughts & actions- fond of participatory action research and informal education - traditional learning - this Siddimgal would be integrating formal and informal education and learning to achive and to perform taking leadership role - the leader in simple term is who seeks solutions, sees solutions and bring solutions - he or she can be of any age or background, but sets out to do and perform to the benefit of people.
